Show HN: I have published a mobile HN client to have coffee chat with HN users
Hi, I have published a mobile app to have coffee chat with HN users.
There was already a guy who made a website for this, but I wanted to do it in mobile to practice WebRTC(technology behind the audio chat) and have some fun.
I haven't spent too much time in terms of the general functionality as a HN client but can upgrade it if there are enough users enjoying the app.

As you might have known, Android requires the app to be tested in a closed beta with at least 20 people So you can follow these steps to be a part of it and download;

I like this! HN gatherings used to happen in the past in various cities, are they still a thing? I’m envious of the irl meetings ACX community is having.
Sounds cool, I may add such functionalities to the app if the app is used by a certain number of users.
What if you made it so any group could use the app? Like Meetup?

No, it potentially replaces Meetup functionality.
Why not go to the ACX meetups then? The overlap with topics HN likes is very strong.
Why? I don't expect all ACX meetup folks to be programmers.

The app perpetually says "1 online users" and won't let me start a call. Unsure if there really are 0 users or if it's bugged/broken.
Hi, It is normal that you see "1 online users", which means you are the only online user using the app at that specific time.
I had a chance to have coffee chat with a few people as the founder of the app but I accept that the number of online users throughout the day is pretty low.
It is generally between 1-3 nowadays.
Perhaps we can have more active users if this post goes to the homepage and we have thousands of HN users downloading it.
Awesome. I submitted my request and I would love to test Android. I have ADB ready if needed on my device as well.
I think you should be able to download it from the market if you become a tester after you joined to the group.

I can add such features if I see enough people enjoy and there is a potential in the app.
However, I am not sure if I should spend more time on it as of now.
