None of these guys, not Zuckerberg, not Musk, none of them, are in favor of free speech unless it's speech they don't object to. They just mouth the words because they know it will play well to a large part of the public.

Hardly - facebook still forbids numerous types of speech:

Harmful stereotypes historically linked to intimidation or violence, such as Blackface; Holocaust denial; claims that Jewish people control financial, political, or media institutions; references to Dalits as menial laborers; and comparing Black people to farm equipment.

Calls or support for exclusion or segregation or statements of intent to exclude or segregate

Among many others, from https://transparency.meta.com/policies/community-standards/h...

They explicitly banned white nationalism & separatism [1], and the Guardian is well aware of this, as they reported on it multiple times [2,3]. I don't know why they're now pretending like they think facebook is some bastion of free speech, when they know full well otherwise, and even contributed to it themselves [3].

Counter-sloganeering is still sloganeering. Billionaires could publish books about you. Would you be okay with it?
